Client FAQs

Practical answers before discussing a corporate funding requirement.

What does PvtFin do?

PvtFin provides corporate financing advisory and arrangement services. We help clients assess potential structures and engage suitable capital providers. Funding proposals are assessed independently by the relevant provider.

Who do you work with?

We focus on medium and large corporates, corporate groups and the promoters, directors and finance teams responsible for their funding requirements.

Promoter-related requirements connected with corporate financing may also be considered.

What is the minimum funding requirement?

Our focus is on requirements starting from ₹1 crore. The appropriate structure and potential funding amount depend on the business, transaction, repayment plan and capital-provider assessment.

Do you handle ordinary corporate financing?

Yes. Our scope includes working capital, term loans, expansion, acquisition finance and refinancing.

Specialised, difficult-to-access and emergency funding are distinguishing strengths within this broader scope.

Can you consider an urgent requirement?

Yes. Please explain the amount, purpose, deadline and current position at the first conversation.

The achievable timeline depends on the proposed structure, readiness of information, diligence, documentation and capital-provider decisions.

Is collateral always required?

Security requirements vary by structure and capital provider. Cash flows, repayment capacity, receivables, assets and other transaction support may form part of the assessment.

The requirements for your proposal are discussed during the assessment.

Can you consider an NPA, settlement or NCLT situation?

Such requirements may be considered following a specific assessment of the facts, legal position, proposed structure and repayment route.

Please disclose the material issues early so that the requirement can be assessed appropriately.

Is funding guaranteed?

Funding approval is a decision of the relevant capital provider, subject to its assessment and agreed conditions. A preliminary discussion, NDA, review or advisory mandate is not a funding commitment.

What fees do you charge?

Fees and payment stages are agreed in writing for each mandate. Depending on the assignment, the arrangement may include a success fee, a retainer or a combination.

Review the agreed scope, fee triggers, applicable taxes and any third-party charges before proceeding.

What should I share initially?

Start with your company name, your role, the approximate amount required, the purpose and the target timeline.

A short summary is sufficient. Detailed documents follow through the agreed process.

Do I need to complete a website form?

You can begin through WhatsApp, email or a telephone conversation. The website form is an additional contact option.

Can an NDA be arranged?

Yes. Formal NDA arrangements are agreed before detailed, sensitive mandate information is shared. The specific terms and sharing arrangements are confirmed for the engagement.

What happens after I contact you?

We discuss the requirement, assess the initial fit and explain the next step. Depending on the proposal, this may involve further information, confidentiality arrangements, an agreed mandate and capital-provider assessment.

Do you serve clients across India?

PvtFin works with corporate funding requirements across India. The initial discussion can take place by telephone, email or WhatsApp, with further coordination arranged according to the transaction.

Can I discuss several funding needs together?

Yes. Please outline the different requirements, amounts and timelines. Working capital, expansion, refinancing and other needs may call for separate structures or a coordinated approach.
