Corporate Funding Eligibility & Documents
Understand the client fit and prepare the information needed for assessment.
PvtFin focuses on corporate financing requirements starting from ₹1 crore. We work with medium and large corporates, promoters, directors, CFOs and authorised finance teams.
Each proposal is assessed on its own facts and the requirements of potential capital providers.
Requirements we consider
- Working capital and receivables-related financing.
- Term loans, business expansion and capital expenditure.
- Project and acquisition-related funding.
- Refinancing of existing borrowings.
- Emergency funding, bridge capital and suitable ICD/ICL requirements.
- Structured debt, private credit and promoter-related financing.
- Carefully assessed stressed, settlement and special-situation requirements.
What matters in the assessment
The funding amount is one part of the picture. We also consider:
- The business and its operating or transaction position.
- The purpose and proposed use of funds.
- Cash flow and the expected repayment or exit source.
- Existing borrowings and repayment obligations.
- Available security or other transaction support.
- The required timeline and readiness of documentation.
- Material issues that may affect the proposed financing.
Security and documentation requirements vary by structure and capital provider. There is no single checklist that establishes eligibility for every transaction.
Information for the first conversation
Please share:
- 1.Company name and a brief business description.
- 2.Your name and role.
- 3.Approximate amount required.
- 4.Purpose of the funding.
- 5.Required timeline.
An outline of the proposed repayment source is helpful. A brief summary is enough to begin.
Documents for the next stage
After the initial discussion and agreed NDA arrangements, the requested information may include:
| Area | Examples, depending on the mandate |
|---|---|
| Company and ownership | Incorporation details, business profile and ownership structure |
| Financial position | Recent audited financial statements, latest provisional figures and relevant cash-flow information |
| Existing debt | Borrowing summary, repayment schedule and lender position |
| Security or transaction support | Relevant asset, receivable, project or other supporting information |
| Funding purpose | Project details, acquisition information, receivables data or the documents supporting the proposed use of funds |
| Repayment plan | Expected cash flows, refinancing route or another proposed repayment source |
We confirm the relevant checklist before requesting detailed documents.
Stressed and special situations
NPA, settlement, NCLT and other stressed situations need a specific assessment of the financial position, legal status, transaction structure and repayment route.
Sharing the material facts at the outset helps us assess the appropriate next step. Acceptance for review does not constitute funding approval.
