Corporate funding in Delhi
A funding discussion moves forward when the borrowing entity, the purpose and the repayment source describe the same transaction. PvtFin helps medium and large corporates in Delhi assess emergency funding, bridge requirements and other corporate financing situations with that starting point.
If your Delhi office coordinates businesses, assets or collections across several locations, explain which entity needs the money and how it will use and repay it. A group name or promoter relationship alone does not establish the borrowing proposition.
Start with the legal borrower
Begin with the full name of the proposed borrower. Then identify the entity receiving the funds, the party being paid and the source expected to meet repayment. Where these differ, explain the complete movement of money.
| Requirement | Entity question | Supporting explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Corporate operating payment | Which company owes the payment? | Show the underlying obligation, due date and proposed use of funds. |
| Promoter requirement | Is the proposed borrower the promoter or a company? | Explain the personal or business purpose and the proposed repayment and support. |
| Group company support | Which entity receives the benefit and which entity repays? | Describe each transfer, its commercial basis and the required approvals or restrictions. |
| Refinancing | Whose existing liability is being replaced? | Set out the current facility, proposed closure and the conditions for releasing existing security. |
If the structure is still being considered, say so. Identify unresolved entity questions early and explain any changes when the structure is confirmed.
Keep company and promoter requirements distinct
A promoter may be central to a transaction without being the proposed borrower. Identify whether support involves a guarantee, security, an equity contribution, a shareholder payment or a separate borrowing request. These are different propositions and need their own explanation.
For a transaction involving more than one group entity, show who owns the asset, holds the contract and receives the cash. Explain the commercial basis for moving funds between those entities. Authority, existing commitments and any required specialist review should be addressed before the structure is taken forward.
Identify cash available to the borrower
Name the proposed repayment source and the conditions that must be completed before the money becomes available. A customer collection, asset sale, refinancing or capital contribution each has different dependencies. Distinguish an expected event from a receipt that is contractually due or already confirmed.
Then consider existing finance, deductions and other payments competing for that cash. A receipt belonging to another entity should not be treated as the borrower's repayment money without explaining the proposed transfer. Include what happens if the receipt is delayed or lower than expected.
Bring material constraints into the first review
A concise, accurate explanation helps avoid a proposal being assessed on an incomplete picture. Mention the matters that could affect the structure or execution:
- Existing borrowing, repayment dates, lender restrictions and any current overdue amount.
- The owner of any proposed security, existing charges and the proposed availability of that asset.
- Group transfers, guarantees or promoter support on which the proposal depends.
- Disputes, notices, proceedings or account restrictions relevant to the proposed transaction.
- The approvals, consents and documents still required, together with the people responsible.
- The payment deadline, the consequence of delay and the proposed alternative repayment plan.
Disclosure does not establish eligibility or make a particular structure available. It allows the actual requirement and its constraints to be assessed before further work is agreed.
Prepare one clear funding brief
For the initial discussion, share:
- Company and group names, business activity and the authorised decision-maker.
- The proposed borrower, amount required, purpose and actual payment deadline.
- The Delhi connection and the locations of the relevant operations, asset or transaction.
- Current borrowing and the material constraints affecting the requirement.
- The proposed repayment source, expected timing and key conditions.
- Any proposed security, promoter support or group funding movement.

How an enquiry becomes a defined engagement
Clarify the requirement
Establish the borrower, purpose, timing and repayment proposition using the initial summary.
Agree the written scope
Record the work, fees, responsibilities, confidentiality and information required before detailed engagement.
Examine the supporting records
Review the agreed material and identify gaps, transaction dependencies and matters requiring specialist input.
Take suitable proposals forward
Where the assessment supports further work, approach suitable capital providers within the accepted mandate. Availability, terms and execution remain subject to their assessment and completion of the agreed conditions.
Questions about funding requirements in Delhi
Does a Delhi address establish funding suitability?
No. The review concerns the proposed borrower, business, purpose, repayment and transaction constraints. A Delhi address helps place the enquiry but does not establish eligibility or approval.
Can a group submit one combined requirement?
An initial group summary can help, but identify the amount and purpose for each proposed borrower. Explain any transfers, guarantees or shared repayment assumptions rather than treating separate entities as one borrower.
Can promoter support be considered?
Describe the form of support and who will provide it. Its relevance depends on the proposed structure, authority, existing commitments and the capital provider's assessment. Promoter support does not replace a clear repayment proposition.
Can an urgent requirement be reviewed while the structure is incomplete?
Share the actual deadline and identify what is unresolved. An initial discussion may clarify the work needed, but urgency does not remove documentation, assessment or approval requirements.
What if repayment depends on money received by another entity?
Identify the recipient, the basis and timing of the receipt, competing commitments and the proposed route to the borrower. That relationship must be explained; expected group cash is not automatically available for the borrower's repayment.
Do we need to send all confidential records with the enquiry?
Begin with the short funding brief. Detailed records can follow after the scope, authority, confidentiality and document-sharing arrangements are agreed. Do not send account passwords or OTPs.
